The Real You Project

I have been absent on my blog to do alot on myspace. I have recieved so much business from it that I haven't had much time to devote over here. BUT...I am trying to change that! I decided to revamp my website (still in progress) and my blog. So to start off those changes I wanted to share a new project that i have been working on and am very proud of. It's called the Real You project and it's all about capturing the "real you" while having everyone where the same kind of outfit. I wanted to show the true personality with just a tshirt and jeans. Lately i've been so inspired to take pictures of my family. Thankfully they have been cooperative and this past Monday I was able to get them to the studio for what started as their Valentine pictures. They all did so wonderful, and let me tell you I'm a proud momma after these! So here are some of my favorites.

Tudalicious

That is what I am nicknaming my Bella. She is so full of attitude but also full of sassyness and sweetness right now. This is a really fun age and finally after months of not being able to photograph her, she has decided to cooperate. So here she is, modeling a few of my girlie props (red petticoat and argyle baby legs) and showing off her personality!

Our Christmas...

was filled with 8 happy kids, endless amounts of happiness, tons of gifts, karaoke, 80's trivial pursuit, lots of food, dinner out with parents, relaxing and of course pictures. Here is what I get when I try to pull the kids aside to take their Christmas pictures. I was able to get them all looking at me and smiling, then as I told them that I just needed one more picture I would let them go, they gave me what's in picture #2.....priceless.

Okay this holiday season has been so crazy that I haven't had time to post or to let those of you who do frequent here that I was on vacation. We left Dec. 21 and just got back. It was a wonderful time spent with family and friends, but now we are home and i have so much planned for this new year. I PROMISE to have new pictures up by tomorrow and to let you all know of some of my fun things I have planned!! I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and that you have a prosperous new year!

I have been swamped with trying to get all of my sessions completed before I leave for vacation. Sorry I haven't posted much, but I do promise to post a few of my sessions before I leave.

My 16x20 canvas

I'm not sure if most of you know that I do sell canvas prints from your session. I was asked recently about how they look so I though I would show the one that I have in my bedroom. This is a 16x20 canvas that comes ready to hang. These pictures don't do the actual canvas justice. They are absolutely gorgeous and a wonderful heirloom.
