Nope it's just Bella! She is a little character...literally. She wants to play dress up everyday and this was one of her favorites. She came downstairs like this and all I could do is just laugh. Well that and reach for my camera!

Our freedom walk

Last year we took part in the Freedom Walk which honors the victims of 9-11 and support the troops fighting for our freedom. It was a wonderful event to attend with the kids, especially since Lamont was out to sea at the time. So of course we wanted to attend this year and hope to make it an annual tradition. So here are our pictures from this years walk. It was even better since Lamont was home and able to attend.

A family reunion of sorts

Back in July Lamont's mother came to visit and we all decided to go to her nephew's wedding up in Richmond. I was excited because my kids and I have never met any of Lamont's extended family. We were able to meet his aunt and uncle, cousins, and most importantly his grandmother. She broke down and cried when she saw the kids for the first time. It was a beautiful wedding and I brought along my camera to take a few pictures. The bride and groom are both Ebony Fashion Fair models. They are a beautiful couple, both inside and out.

New way of viewing your proofs

Effective today September 11th, I have decided to implement a new way of viewing your session proofs. In the past I would send you a link to view your pictures online. I will now be having the client set up a viewing session at my studio, where you will be able to view your proofs to a musical slideshow. During this session I will have all of your pictures on print for you to be able to see and feel. I will also have on display several larger portraits, collages and storyboards. Once your order is placed and you meet a minimum order, you will have the chance to purchase the larger prints, collages and storyboards for a discounted price and take them home that day. After your order is placed, I will then send you your proofs via my website for you to share with your family and friends. I am hoping this will be a great new experience for all of my clients!

A fun family

When Lamont and I first moved into housing here in Virginia we were so lucky to have wonderful neighbors. Unfortunately we both moved and I miss them alot. Thankfully they recently contacted me to do a family shoot of their extended family. I was invited to a barbeque the day before the shoot and it was so nice to get to know their family. They were so much fun to be around, and Kelly and John always know how to cook for a barbeque!!! I hope you enjoy your sneak peak!! The rest will be done by the end of this week!!

A beautiful sky

Nature is so beautiful, when we actually get to take the time to look at it. I took these back in July after my son's birthday shoot. I couldn't believe how beautiful the sky looked. The last picture is of the beach I've had 2 shoots at so far. I love it out there and if anyone is interested in having their pictures taken there, just let me know!

Some more to tease you with Becky....

Here are a couple of pictures of my friend Becky, who's due to give birth to her little man Richard Daniel in just a few short weeks. I've been wanting to take pictures of her since I found out she was pregnant! I can't wait to get my hands on that baby!! Congratulations to the Javier family....he is going to be one beautiful baby!
